The Atlantic Basin Project was created by members of the Independent Artists Cooperative and Rock Can Roll Independent, both artist-run groups working in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. This project was generated in an effort to reach out to other parts of the world and highlight the work of artists working in coastal regions. It is meant to create a space for inter-national exchange and the sharing of ideas and experiences. Volume One is the result of a year's work by IAC and RCRI members.
